Kashmar (Kashmar, Turschis) is located in eastern Iran 150 km south of Mashad.
Before the 19th century was called, often hit by Mongol raiders,
Turschis place. Only a few weavers are producing carpets. The groundtone of the
carpets is mainly held in red or beige. In addition to hexagonal design also
linked in allover floral design. Features are the distinctive Vasenkashmar
many motifs such as animals and vases represent. It is wool that feels very soft,
on cotton in a knot density of about 150-250 TKN/sqm.
